Pakistan's top leaders celebrated Raksha Bandhan!!!

Meanwhile, the festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on monday (August 19, 2024). people living in pakistan, especially in the northwestern city of Peshawar and the southern city of Karachi, celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with enthusiasm. On this occasion, a Hindu senator of the pakistan People's party (PPP) tied a Rakhi to the party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Krishna Kumari has also shared a video of herself tying a Rakhi to Bilawal Bhutto on the social media platform X. In the caption with the video, she wrote, 'Happy Raksha Bandhan. Thank you President Bilawal Bhutto.' She also merged an audio with the video, in which it is heard - Deserts also turn green, when brothers stand with sisters.

Before the festival of rakshabandhan was celebrated on monday, temporary shops were opened in the premises of many temples in the city to sell rakhis of different colors and designs. Shopkeepers also sold rakhis as well as other items used in worship.

The festival was celebrated amid tight security in Peshawar. In view of the festivala large number of police forces were deployed around the temples in the city and cantonment areas.

A large number of Hindu women and girls gathered in a temple located in the city's Jhanda Bazaar for worship in the morning and then preparations were made for Aarti. After participating in religious rituals, the women tied rakhis to their brothers. According to Lahore-based TV channel 'Bolda Punjab', the festival was also celebrated in the old Krishna temple in Lahore.
