8 out of 10 employees like to work in such companies!

It often seems that employees give the most importance to salary while working, but it is not so. A recent survey has revealed that 8 out of 10 employees give more importance to the way their work is rather than the salary, that is, what kind of skills are being used in their work. In companies where more importance is given to the skills of the employees, the chances of employees staying there are higher. This has been revealed in the report of EY and iMocha.

According to the report of EY, this survey has revealed that 63 percent of HR found that giving importance to talent has had a positive impact on the employees. At the same time, programs like Skills First Transformation (SFT) have had a very positive impact on the employees. This report has been prepared after talking to 240 HR leaders and 340 employees of a total of 1775 companies. Employees from the US, India, the UK, europe and the gulf countries have been included in the survey.

Companies are also better at managing

This report also revealed that many times, due to traditional methods of workforce change, skills are not given much priority. In such a situation, it affects the functioning of the company, but if the company gives priority to the skills of the employees, then in such a situation, the company gets help in better management. Along with this, there is a possibility of 5 times better results of the company. Along with this, it has also been said in this report that often the cost incurred during workforce change is always underestimated. In such a situation, a difference of 3 to 10 times can be seen in the cost.

Companies need to pay more attention to skills

This survey also shows that companies need to focus the most on skills while recruiting new people. This will help companies in hiring better people by understanding their actual cost. Along with this, companies will also be helped in filling their skill gap.
