3. In some brinjals, you may see small holes on the outside. Never buy brinjals with these holes, because there may be a high possibility of insects in them.

4. Whether the brinjal is round or long, all have a stalk. If the colour of this stalk is green, then understand that the brinjal is fresh. On the other hand, if this stalk has turned black or dried up, then do not buy it. It may also be three-four days old.

5. Always buy small sized brinjals. There is a high chance of seeds and insects coming out of big brinjals. Buy only small sized brinjals. If you cook its vegetable and eat it, it will taste good.
