Jayeshbhai Jordaar: delhi Court's comment on Ranveer Singh's film, said - cannot show controversial scenes without a disclaimer

Bollywood actor Ranveer Kapoor's film Jayeshbhai Jordar is in a lot of discussions about its release. The film, which is set to hit the theaters this month, has already been in legal trouble even before its release. Actually, the film is embroiled in controversies regarding one of its scenes. The trailer of the film released in the past came in the headlines as soon as it came in front, but now a controversy arose over one of its scenes.

The controversy that started with this scene increased so much that in this case, the delhi court had challenged it. Now a new update has recently surfaced on this matter. In this regard on Monday, the delhi High court said that the film cannot show scenes related to sex determination without any disclaimer. A bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla asked the counsel appearing for the producers of the film to show the relevant portion on which the objection has been filed.

There is no disclaimer on this either. Significantly, a scene was shown in the trailer of the film, in which the parents of Ranveer Singh's character Jayeshbhai take their pregnant daughter-in-law for a sex test. In the film, Jayeshbhai's parents have decided that if a girl is born, they will kill her.

Pawan Prakash Pathak had filed a petition in court against this scene of the film. In his petition, Pawan said that it is illegal to test the sex of the child before delivery and our constitution does not allow it. In such a situation, he demanded that such things should not be shown to the common people through the film and this scene should be removed from the film 'on the grounds of promoting prohibited activities'.

The petitioner has also said in his petition that this is in violation of Sections 3, 3A, 3B, 4, 6, and 22 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, Pre-Conception, and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques Act. In such a situation, he requested that since the film is releasing on May 13 across India, the courts should accept his request before the release.

The film stars ranveer singh as the son of a traditional Gujarati sarpanch who believes in equal rights between men and women in society. The film will be released on May 13.
