Union minister nitin gadkari is preparing a big plan on flex-fuel vehicles. On Saturday, he said that top executives of automobile companies have promised to produce flex-fuel vehicles within six months.

In an event of 'ET Global business Summit, nitin gadkari has said that the government is working on a plan to run public transport with 100 percent clean energy sources.

Flex-fuel is an alternative fuel prepared from a mixture of gasoline and methanol or ethanol. Engines that can run on other fuels without any problem. brazil is the largest country to use flex-fuel engines.
