How you can easily transfer PF money???
If you are a government or private employee, then you must have an EPFO account. However, if you work in a private company, then on catching a new job, you have two options related to the PF account. If you want, you can withdraw money from the PF account or if you want, you can get your deposits transferred to the new PF account. You can easily transfer PF money from one account to another while sitting at home. To do this process, the account holder's UAN must be activated. Here we will tell you how you can easily transfer PF money from one account to another.
How to apply for an online PF transfer?
First of all, go to the official website of UAN https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface.
Now log in with your UAN.
Click on One Member One EPF for online service.
Now verify the information related to your existing company and PF account.
Now click on Get Details, after which you will see the PF account details of the previous appointment.
Now you have to choose between the previous or current company. Select anyone and fill in the Member ID or UAN.
Now click on the Get OTP option.
An OTP will come on your registered number, after which you will have to press the submit button.
Your EPF account may be closed
If no transaction has been done in that PF account for 36 months, then after 3 years this account will be closed automatically. Also, EPF will be linked to the inactive account, due to which there may be trouble in withdrawing money from the PF account. However, interest will continue to accrue on your inactive account as well. Also, if the account remains inactive for 7 years, the deposited money will automatically be deposited in the Senior Citizen Welfare Fund.
