This week, ICICI Prudential will launch its new fund offer!!!
For investors in the market, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has introduced a new fund offer. Investors have a unique opportunity to purchase mutual funds through this NFO. The energy industry is the main focus of this new fund.
Open-ended equity scheme's NFO
The Energy Opportunities Fund is the beneficiary of this ICICI Prudential NFO. It's an open-ended equity program with a focus on energy-related investments. The aim of this strategy is to capitalise on the expansion of both the old and new energy sectors/industries, together with the connected segments. The goal of this plan is to provide investors with strong long-term returns by allowing them to invest in stock and equity-related securities of companies within the relevant area.
This will be advantageous to investors.
Energy is the foundation of both industrial and economic progress, according to Sankaran Naren, ED and CIO of ICICI Prudential AMC. Considering the government's emphasis on reaching net zero emissions and the continuous transition to renewable energy, this energy issue also has a lot of room to expand. Investors can access a diverse portfolio of businesses along the energy value chain by means of this plan.
The plan will make investments in these fields.
Nitya Mishra and Sankaran Naren will oversee the plan. This scheme will use Nifty Energy TRI as its benchmark. The program will invest in the following sectors: Heavy Electrical Equipment, Power T&D Value, Energy EPC, Energy Manufacturing, Transmission, and Distribution. In addition to them, investments will be undertaken in downstream petrochemicals, base oil processors, integrated refining and marketing, standalone refining, and upstream (oil exploration and production) along the oil value chain.
On Tuesday, a new fund offer will launch.
Subscriptions for this ICICI Prudential new fund offer will be accepted starting on July 2, which is the second day of the week. This NFO is open to bidders until July 16. This NFO is thought to be beneficial for long-term investors because of its concentrated theme on the energy sector.
