Sens*x-Nifty closed at record high!!!

The indian stock market got support from excellent global signals and Wednesday's trading session was also historic. Sensex has been able to cross the record figure of 80,000 for the first time. Due to strong buying in banking stocks, Nifty bank crossed the 53,000 mark for the first time and the index saw a rise of 1,000 points. Buying has also been seen in midcap and smallcap stocks. The market cap of BSE also crossed Rs 445 lakh crore for the first time. At the end of trading today, the BSE Sensex closed at 79987 with a jump of 545 points and the National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed at 24,286 points with a jump of 163 points.

Market cap at a historic high

Due to strong growth in the indian stock market, market capitalization has reached a record high. According to BSE data, the market cap of listed stocks closed at Rs 445.50 lakh crore, which closed at Rs 442.18 lakh crore in the previous session. In today's session, investors' wealth has seen an increase of Rs 3.32 lakh crore.

If we look at the rising stocks in today's trade, adani Ports closed with a jump of 2.49 percent, Kotak bank 2.37 percent, hdfc bank 2.18 percent, Axis bank 2.07 percentIndusIns Bank 1.82 percent, sbi 1.66 percent, Power Grid 1.41 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.25 percent, Tata Steel 1.06 percentWhile TCS closed with a decline of 1.27 per cent, Titan 1.14 per cent, reliance 0.86 per cent, Tata Motors 0.54 per cent, L&T 0.26 per cent, Asian Paints 0.03 per cent.
