Steps taken to promote green energy!!!
The government of india has taken several steps to promote green energy. Such as- Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (SAUBHAGYA), Green Energy Corridor (GEC), Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid and) Electric vehicles (FAME), international Solar Alliance (ISA), National Green Hydrogen Mission.
The aim of Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana is to provide electricity to every household. Along with providing electricity to the people, it also opens the way for adopting green options like solar energy in future. Under the Green Energy Corridor, a network of power lines is being built, through which electricity generated from wind and sun can be transported to different parts of the country. This will help in increasing the production and use of green energy.
The aim of the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid and) Electric vehicles scheme is to promote electric vehicles, which will reduce pollution and increase the production of electric vehicles in the country. The international Solar Alliance is an international organization whose aim is to increase the use of solar energy. india is leading this organization. At the same time, the goal of the National Green Hydrogen Mission is to develop hydrogen as a clean fuel, which will reduce pollution and increase energy security.
