Samantha who has been a glam doll in South Indian Film industry is all set to take a new avatar. She is going to fill shoes of Producer and she will produce remake of Kannada movie 'U Turn' in Tamil and Telugu languages. The original Kannada version is produced by 'Lucia' fame Pawan Kumar.
The movie is yet to have a release and it was earlier shown to Samantha in a special screening. Samantha was heavily impressed with the movie and she has decided to produce the movie under her own banner.
This is the first time she is entering production phase. In recent times, Samantha is the only actress to enter production. Shraddha Srinath did female lead in the original version. However Samantha will not act in the remake. It is still not yet confirmed who will play the female lead in this project.
This movie just needs shoe-string budget and Samantha is hopeful about tasting profits in quick time. Pawan Kumar himself is likely to direct the Tamil and Telugu version.
