Sources from Sandalwood industry have stated that Kurukshetra film will be launched on July 23, the birthday of the producer of the movie, Muniratna. The casting finalization is in final stages as the date of film launch is drawing near. According to sources challenging star Darshan, Crazy Star Ravichandran and a few others have been finalized as the cast of the movie. Despite searching with earnest efforts, the casting process is taking a little too much of time.
The team of Kurukshetra have apparently approached South Indian actress Sneha for Draupadi's role in the movie. Sneha, who once was the queen of all South film industries, has reportedly agreed for the offer. Only the team has to officially announce the news.
Meanwhile Sneha, who works prominently in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam
films has also acted in a few Kannada movies as well. She has acted in
Ravichandran's, Ravishastry and Prakash Rai's, Oggarane. Currently Darshan as
Duryodhana, Ravichandran as Lord Krishna, Srinivasa Murthy as Dronacharya and
Srinath as Dhritarashtra are confirmed. But, about Hariprriya, Regina and
Sneha's roles, it is yet to be announced
