In Tollywood more than 80 percent of top level heroines come from Hindi background so it is natural that their voices are dubbed by professionals. In the recent past, heroines like Samantha, Tamannah and others have learnt Telugu but they are yet to dub. And another sexy heroine also had her own issues with language.
She is none other than Priyanka Chopra and soon she will be making her debut with ‘Thoofan’ opposite Ram Charan. It is heard that Priyanka prepared in a special style for Telugu. She carried three scripts in her hand- English, Hindi and Telugu. The English script consisted of Telugu dialogues written in English.
Priyanka reportedly mentioned that by reading the Telugu lines in English she was able to get the pronunciation right. Whether she dubs for her voice or not, she wanted her lip movement to be perfect in Telugu in front of the camera. One must appreciate Priyanka’s efforts. It is also heard that Ram Charan gave his share of tips to Priyanka during shooting.
