trisha had last acted as Superstar Rajnikanth's wife in karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta and is next starring in Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, Engeyum Eppothum fame M.Saravanan's Raangi and another movie with Simran.

Trisha's next release will be her long-delayed thriller movie Garjanai and it has now been revealed that the tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the movie have been acquired by SDC pictures and it is expected that the release date of the movie will be announced soon.
Garjanai along with trisha also features Amit Bhargav, Vamsi krishna and this movie which is the official remake of bollywood hit Anushka starrer NH10 is helmed by sundar Balu and is bankrolled by Century international films which also produced Adho Andha Paravai Pola.
