Actress amala was a top heroine of the mid-80s till the early 90s and got married to handsome hunk akkineni nagarjuna and quit acting and was occasionally seen in several tv shows and was leading a quiet life.
She made a return to films with sekhar Kammula’s Life Is beautiful in 2012, following which amala akkineni had also done a cameo in manam and also film in malayalam named saira banu and is nos making comeback in tamil after 3 decades.
Amala akkineni will be seen in a pivotal role in sharwanand and Ritu varma starrer Tamil-Telugu bilingual helmed by debutant Shree Karthick and bankrolled by SR Prabhu. Amala’s last tamil release was the 1991 bilingual Karpoora Mullai. amala akkineni has made a come back into films with a small role in "Life Is Beautiful" a while ago and now she has done one more cameo role in a women-oriented film in Tamil.
