Vemal after starring in many action and rural movies is now turning to do a romantic comedy to be helmed by director Senthil Kumar, who had last directed the investigative thriller movie 6.2 which was released way back in 2005, starring sathyaraj and Sunitha Varma.
He also worked with shriya for the hollywood remake of 'The Proposal' under shakti Chidambaram's direction. The shooting for the movie was wrapped before the Corona Pandemic struck. The makers are now trying for an OTT release.
In this case, there were lots of talks that, they are eyeing an OTT release to escape from the censors as it is an 'Adults Comedy' flick and has lots of vulgar stuff. But shriya denied all the reports and clarified that it is not 'A' rated and it is not a complete rip off 'The Proposal' and the director shakti chidambaram has changed a lot to suit the tamil audience.
