Shruti Haasan started working for her tamil movie titled 'Laabam' in 2019. The team also wrapped up the shooting in the same year itself. However, there were lots of post-production works. The movie also struggled to see the daylight due to the unexpected Corona pandemic. The director of the movie SP Jananathan took his last breath due to brain fever and the movie faced a pause in the post-production works.


The movie has music composed by D.Imman and yesterday evening the team released the second single track 'Yaamili Yaamiliyaa'. The movie is funded by 7Cs Entertainment Pvt Ltd and vijay sethupathi Productions banner together as a joint venture. jagapathi babu essays the role of antagonist in this venture. This is the first time shruti haasan pairs with vijay Sethupathi. 


D.Imman has composed music and now he has revealed the second single track from the movie. He released the song on his twitter page. The song which begins as 'Yaazha' has been unveiled now. Initially, the team planned to release the movie by Ramadan. But due to the unexpected upsurge in positive corona cases, the release has been postponed indefinitely. The makers also confirmed they won't release the movie on any OTT platforms as it will be a tribute to the Late director SPJananathan. Check out the tweet below,
