However it didn't go down well with the Twitterati and they are venting their anger on the actress. They are saying that Kareena is hurting people’s religious feelings and her demand of Rs 12 crores is against humanity. Some netizens also took over the director for preferring Kareena for the role of Sita. Few netizens even brought up Saif in the middle and called him names for hurting religious feelings with Tandav.

The primary concern of most of the netizens is that how a Hindu turned Muslim can play Sita. According to a close source of Sita makers, Kareena demanded a hefty Rs 12 crores to play the title role. Usually Kareena demands INR 6-8 crores for films and this sudden rise of remuneration left the makers in shock. The makers are reconsidering their decision, but their first choice is said to be Kareena only. We have to wait and see how this situation will end up.
