shershaah, the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer about the Kargil war, is getting an OTT premiere before Independence Day. The film is set to release on amazon Prime Videos on august 12, 2021, helmed by vishnu Varadhan and financed by dharma productions and Kaash Entertainment. dharma productions as well as the ott giant will collaborate for the first time on Shershaah. shershaah starring sidharth malhotra and kiara advani in the female lead and is based on the true story of Captain vikram Batra (PVC), a Kargil warhero.
