Director Maniratnam has restarted the shooting of ponniyin selvan in full swing and recently the team shot a grandeur song sequence and we can see several actors wearing a 'Blue Colored' dress as they wanted to refill it during the Visual Effects. trisha who is part of the current schedule was involved in the recent shoot along with actor jayam ravi and this movie brings the hot pair of ravi and trisha together after 15 long years. 


The last time they came together was during the 'Something Something Unakum Enakum' movie in 2006. Already, there were some reports that Maniratnam shot a song sequence featuring aishwarya Rai and Sarathkumar and now he has moved on with his next pair. trisha will be along with the team in hyderabad for the next 2 months and the shooting will happen non-stop and karthi is expected to join the team from september for his portions. 



Director Maniratnam is also doing the CGI work and other post-production-related stuff along with the shooting procedures itself. director Maniratnam makes sure that everyone in the team right from the light boy to the star hero, everyone got vaccinated and every one of them strictly follows all the guidelines issued by the Government.
