Nani's successful telugu flick Ninu Korri will be remade in tamil by Atharva and Anupama Parameswaran. Kannan handled the tamil adaptation, which is named Thalli Pogathey. The film's formal release date was revealed today by the producers. On december 3, 2021, the romantic comedy is planned to hit theatres. The melody Thalli Pogathey from gautham Vasudev Menon's Acham Enbathu Madamayadaa inspired the heading.

Due to a new wave of coronavirus, the movie has been delayed since the initial trailer was released in January. The trade went hot after the trailer got released, but sooner due to the pandemic it faded away and again now the business and trade has heated up and it is going to be Anupama's biggest release in kollywood industry after Dhanush's 'Kodi' and it is also her return after a brief hiatus.

In crucial roles, Naren, Jagan, Kaali Venkat, and vidyullekha raman will appear. Amitash Pradhan will play a crucial role in the film; aadhi Pinisetty played the character in the telugu film adaptation. Gopi Sundar, who wrote the songs for the predecessor, is also responsible for the tamil version. The movie is produced by Kannan independently, in collaboration with MKRP Productions, and features cinematography by Shanmuga Sundaram.
