Valimai movie: The unstoppable strength of the release?
Ajith's strength has remained in the competition despite Rajamouli's great films being pushed back by theatrical restrictions. tamil and telugu cinema's big-budget films like rrr, valimai, radhe shyam are all set to hit the box office for the upcoming pongal holidays. But big-budget movies are reluctant to hit the screens on the day, as theaters are closed in most states due to the fast-spreading omicron virus, and only 50 percent of seats are allowed in a few states, including tamil Nadu.
RRR Directed by rajamouli and starring Ramcharan Jr. NTR, the hugely acclaimed rrr film has grossed around Rs 400 crore and has grossed over Rs 800 crore. The rrr crew is now exhausted by the fact that the film crew flew across the country in the hope that the film would be released on Jan7th. But Ajith's valimai film crew, which does not need to worry about restrictions across India, is getting ready in full swing to release in theaters on january 13 with 50 percent seats allowed.
After announcing a 50 percent seat restriction by the tamil Nadu government, the valimai film crew has assured the fans that the film will be released on the same day as it is expected. Following the recent release of the trailer for the film, the crew plans to reap the rewards.
Similarly, the Rs 350 crore radhe shyam film starring prabhas and pooja hegde in telugu was announced to be released in all languages including Hindi, tamil, and Telugu. Radheshyam was similarly expected to pull out of the competition as the rrr film was set back but the film crew has announced that the film will be released on january 14th as planned.
