The premiere of chiranjeevi and ram Charan's film acharya has been postponed due to an increase of COVID-19 cases across the country, according to reports. The project was originally scheduled to be released on february 4th. chiranjeevi and ram charan work together for the first time in koratala Siva's latest film.


Acharya, on the other hand, isn't the only film whose premiere has been postponed owing to the current pandemic. RRR, Radhe Shyam, and Bheemla Nayak's producers recently postponed the theatre release of their films. It is also expected that many other films would be pushed owing to the same reason. In light of the current situation, theatre attendance is likely to plummet dramatically and situation is getting worse.


Pooja Hegde and kajal aggarwal feature as the female protagonists in acharya, which is produced by Matinee Entertainment and konidela production Company. The film's background score was composed by Mani Sharma, and the cinematography was handled by Tirru. Meanwhile, chiranjeevi is preparing to release Meher Ramesh's next film, Bhola Shankar. The female leads in Chiranjeevi's next film will be Keerthy suresh and tamannaah Bhatia. Godfather, directed by Mohan Raja, would also feature Chiranjeevi.
