"The producers were looking for a seasoned performer who could play Elizabeth Debikii from the classic with uttermost confidence, and they've already cast Sobhita in the role." In fact, the starlet was in contact with the crew even before hrithik roshan agreed to star in the series. "While the selection of males has changed, the actress currently leads the program as the female lead," a person close to the issue disclosed.


For those who are unaware, The Night Manager was originally conceived with hrithik roshan in the starring role, but the actor finally dropped out owing to scheduling conflicts, leaving aditya roy kapur to carry the torch. Following that, they cast anil kapoor in a major role and got business going. The six-episode restricted miniseries will be shot in a variety of exotic settings, including enclosed environments, and will be finished by summer for a late 2022 launch on Disney+Hotstar.
