Amal Neerad's mammootty movie Bhishma Parvam has become one of the biggest hits in malayalam cinema since Kovid's arrival. The release date of the film, which recently reached its peak pre-release hype, was march 3rd.
The film, which garnered excellent word-of-mouth publicity on its first day, has yet to make a comeback at the box office. Within a week of its release, the film has grossed over Rs 50 crore worldwide, according to new box office reports.
Trade analyst kaushik LM tweeted that the film has already made it to the 75 crore club from the global box office. According to Kaushik, the film has grossed Rs 40 crore in kerala alone.
The film, which received Housefull shows in most of its release centers in its first weekend, received good response this weekend as well. bheeshma Parvam is in the third week of its first choice release in Kerala.
The fact that there is no other film with a similar star value and the size of a canvas is another advantage for Bhishma at the box office.
The general assessment of trade analysts is that the film will easily reach 100 crore clubs and above as it did not experience a big drop in the number of viewers even at the beginning of the third week.
