Director vivek Agnihotri's film 'The kashmir Files', which is making a splash across the country, has created a ruckus in America as well. Like india, the number of theaters showing it there has increased four times. The film's earnings have started surpassing all the english films being shown there. And, this weekend, the film has entered the top 10 trending movies of the USA box office.



The film 'The kashmir Files' also released in America on march 11. The film, which opened in just 63 theaters, stunned the audience by earning around $400,000 on its first weekend. After this, the number of theaters showing the film started increasing and till the last news was received, the number of theaters showing the film 'The kashmir Files' in the US has gone up to 230 till Sunday. In india too, this film was released with only 650 screens and now their number has increased to four thousand.


Group bookings are also going on in the offices for this and this is the reason why the American collection of the film is increasing day by day. The film has done a business of about one million dollars in the first week there.


The film is doing great in the second week. And in the last three days itself, the film has earned four lakh US dollars in America. Compared to the friday of the release day and the second friday after that, the film's collection has increased four times there. This is the reason that this film has been included in the top 10 trending films of the US box office.


Apart from America, the business of the film 'The kashmir Files' is also doing well in other countries. By the second weekend, the film's overseas business is expected to reach around Rs 25 crore. The film did an overall business of 163.80 crores in the first nine days of its release in India. Out of this, the total net earning of the film has been Rs 141.25 crore after taking out the expenses of theater etc.


Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's film 'The kashmir Files' in association with abhishek Agarwal Arts and Zee Studios unravels the reality of the massacre of local Kashmiri Pandits in the kashmir Valley 32 years ago. Famous actors like Anupam Kher, mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Prakash Belwadi, Mrinal Kulkarni and Chinmay Mandlekar have worked in the film.
