RRR contains an obvious symbolic allusion to the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The life of Lord Rama, a forest inhabitant, inspired the character of Ramcharan Teja. alia bhatt plays Sita, whereas Jr NTR's portrayal appears to be influenced by Hanuman.
The image of Ramcharan holding an arrow and bow represents the same fiery nature of Lord Rama that is seen during his departure and later conflict with Ravana. In indian tradition, Lord Rama is given the title of Maryada Purushottam and for the first time during the ram temple movement a different picture emerged which was used in the context of ram Setu to depict the fierce form of the Lord.
Fans of rrr and all the fan pages will be flooded with pictures. A collage of mythological references is seen with the picture of the film. For example, in a picture, Ramcharan is seen driving a pistol to Jr. NTR. The picture is somewhat similar to that of Lord krishna in the form of a charioteer pointing to the battlefield and arjuna shooting an arrow in the popular calendar inspired by the Mahabharata.
In a collage, Ramcharan, disguised as a sanyasi, sits on Jr NTR's shoulder and holds weapons in both his hands. In the collage with this photo, ram is shown seated Hanuman on his shoulder.
In another photo, ntr is seen with Ramcharan-Alia. The mythological photo in the collage is of ram darbar in which Lord Rama and Sita are standing, Hanuman is also with them.
Many more scenes are inspired by Ramayana Mahabharata which have been used in the film and are being interpreted on social media. Interestingly, the actual names of the characters also carry a sense of mythological references. Sitaram, Sita and Bhima.
