Actor simbu has released his latest movie Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu after earning a hit with Maanaadu. This movie, which was directed by gautham Vasudev menon, debuted today. The Life of muthu will be the telugu title of the translation. On september 17, the telugu version will be made available. The film's trailer was recently released by the producers.
The Life of muthu recounts muthu (Simbudevelopment )'s from an impressionable youth to a mobster. The major plot of the film is how a young, innocent man got drawn into the mafia. We are reminded of movies like Nayakudu and Malik by the trailer (Fahadh Faasil). simbu looks fantastic in many outfits. He seemed to have delivered a moving performance in the film.
With "The Life of muthu," gautham Vasudev menon makes an attempt at a gangster epic that plunges us into the underground where those who are desperate are exploited as puppets by their leaders in their game of one-upmanship (or "periya machine-la chinna screw," as a character puts it).
The director offers an unflinching view of this dangerous society replete with exploited people and unrealized potential. He frames the parotta business like a prison the first time we see it to visually indicate what muthu is getting into. Even though Muthu's climb (or descent, depending on how you want to look at it) in this world follows a fairly well-known trajectory, gautham keeps these moments interesting by slowly revealing how the gang operates. We already know that muthu will use the gun that appears in his hand in the early scenes to carry out the murder that his mother has sent him to do because she believes that it is his destiny. However, the way the filmmaker gets there feels novel.
