Three movies were released during the telugu holiday of dasara 2022. It was a disappointing dasara because despite the release of two biggies and one modest film, none of them managed to make the trade happy with festivals.

The Disappointment:
Godfather, the megastar chiranjeevi movie, had a respectable opening weekend thanks to the impact of the dasara holidays and fans' affinity for Chiranjeevi's style. Today, or the first working Monday, is the film's actual test. As it is, the movie's passable performance won't be sufficient to cross the line. Despite honest discourse and favourable reviews, the film is likely to fall about 20 crore shy of its breakeven aim. Fans of chiranjeevi appear to still be on the waiting list.

The Godfather made one million dollars during the course of a six-day weekend at the US box office. Even though the performance is average for a star like chiranjeevi, the second week run is crucial to posting a respectable performance. GodFather ought to have reached $1.5 million by now and be moving in the direction of $2 million. By the end of this week, we'll know where it lands.

The Hopeless:
The Ghost by king Nagarjuna was able to generate some excitement prior to its release, but it did not succeed in doing so from the start. The film is on track to become another major flop in Nagarjuna's career despite the lacklustre advance screenings and subsequent talk and reviews. It has only made $121K at the US box office in six days, a pitiful amount by any standard.

The Non-Starter:
Although Swathimuthyam, Bellamkonda Ganesh's debut movie, received favourable reviews, the public never really expressed interest in it. During the holidays, the movie had to evacuate several venues, and it scarcely garnered any shares anywhere. The movie made $46K at the US box office, which is not even enough to pay the costs associated with its release. For Sitara Entertainments, the most popular banner in Tollywood, it is the biggest catastrophe.
