Star of the avatar sequel Avatar: The Way of Water Zoe Saldaa talks about setting a personal record for how long she can hold her breath underwater. Saldaa will play Neytiri again in the planned sequel to james Cameron's 2009 blockbuster. The december 16 release of Avatar: The Way of Water is anticipated to perform worse at the box office than avatar did overall.

Avatar: The Way of Water is slated to bring viewers from the planet's floating mountains and lush forests to its uncharted beaches, little over 13 years after the first avatar first aired in theatres. After falling in love with Na'vi Neytiri and joining the avatar programme ten years prior, sam Worthington's Jake Sully and Neytiri have since begun a family. However, a mysterious new threat and the possibility of further conflicts with humanity force them to leave their homes and travel to the oceans of Pandora.

The avatar sequel promises more stunning visual effects that will build on the success of the first movie thanks to the highly sophisticated underwater motion-capture techniques being used to make it, and one star has now opened up about her own experiences when participating in the challenging underwater filming. Avatar: The Way of Water director james cameron and the cast talked about the underwater filming procedures for the movie as part of a longer discussion with The New York Times. During the motion-capture procedure for the underwater scenes, Saldaa disclosed in the interview that she had set a personal record of holding her breath underwater for 5 minutes, and the director mentioned another member of the cast who had her own outstanding record.
