Radhika Apte: radhika apte turned down offers of sex comedy films, referring to women and explained the reason


Bollywood actress radhika apte is turning down offers of films one after the other. There was a time when radhika apte was known for giving bold photoshoots and bold scenes in films. But now the actress has refused to do sex comedy films after 'Badlapur'. The actress says she doesn't mind the "sex comedy" genre, but it is a subject that can sometimes be offensive to women.

During a conversation with the media house,  Radhika Apte said, "After varun Dhawan's film 'Badlapur', I got offers for sex comedy films. But I turned them down. I do not mind sex comedy. But I do not mind the objectification of women. The problem is. Hunter, which came in 2015, can be called a sex comedy. The kind of sex comedy scenes in these films can be very degrading for women. women are objectified in these films and I am like this I don't like comedy. That's why I am turning down offers from such films."

Radhika goes on to say, "If you read the script, you know what is talked about in the film. What kind of jokes has been made? However, I don't mind films also where the Shawvanist man makes fun of women. But, sometimes it happens that you try to show something else, the story goes something else and ho something else goes. I can't be a part of such films.

In an interview, radhika apte claimed that many people refused to cast her in the film due to sexist reasons. radhika had said, "Because the other actress had big lips and breasts, I was rejected because of this. Not only this, I was even told that 'Look she looks sexier and more selling'.
