After back-to-back flop films, akshay kumar will now play the role of real-life hero Jaswant Singh Gill.

Akshay Kumar is one of those heroes who gives 3 to 4 films in a year. There was a time when khiladi Bhaiyya's films used to create a lot of buzzes, but for some time now his films have not been able to show anything special, due to which now akshay kumar will be seen in a new role in his upcoming film. akshay kumar will now appear in the role of the late mining engineer Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill. All four films of akshay kumar proved to be superflops at the box office this year. Although akshay kumar has also not given up and now he is preparing to do something new. Now soon akshay kumar is going to be seen in the biopic. Akshay Kumar's next film will be a biopic on (late) mining engineer Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill.

Akshay Kumar's look from the film has also come to the fore, in which he is looking awesome. Wearing a long beard and a turban on his head, akshay kumar looks just like Jaswant Gill. His appearance is somewhat similar to 'Singh is King', 'Singh is Bling', and 'Kesari'.Jaswant Singh was a real-life hero. He saved the lives of 65 coal workers trapped in a flooded coal mine at raniganj in West bengal on 16 november 1989. Union Coal and Mines minister Prahlad Joshi tweeted remembering him. akshay kumar replied to this tweet and remembered Sardar Jaswant Singh. He also expressed happiness in playing his character.

Remembering Jaswant Singh Gill, Union Coal and Mines minister Pralhad Joshi wrote, 'Remembering Late Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill Ji for his heroic role in rescuing 65 workers from a coal mine in 1989. We are proud of our #CoalWarriors who fight against the odds in india every day.' Akshay Kumar wrote in his tweet, 'Pralhad Joshi Ji, I am grateful to you for remembering India's first coal mine rescue mission, which happened 33 years ago on this day. I am fortunate that I am playing the character of Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill in my film. There is no other such story.
