He rose to notoriety as a result of a single blockbuster. A single flip sent him down. Over the span of 18 months, Anudeep's life experienced highs and lows. Anudeep established himself with "Jathi Ratnalu," one of the year's biggest successes. Following the release of the film, he received countless proposals from telugu producers and stars. He chose to direct a Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring tamil actor Sivakartikeyan in the hopes of gaining a large market.

"Prince," his film with Sivakarthikeyan, was a colossal flop. Everything that had been said about his directing abilities had vanished. All of the producers who made advance payments to Anudeep are no longer interested in working with him. His most recent picture, Prince, received harsh criticism for its cringe comedy. Anudeep recently responded to the claims. "I don't have charlie Chaplin's brilliance," he said.

So, to the best of my ability, I attempt to make people laugh while not offending anyone's feelings. Some people are entertained, while others are not." He went on to say that criticism should be constructive. "It is not acceptable to mock my type of comedy as 'Leki Comedy.' Please let me know at which scene you thought the comedy in my film was leki so that I can improve. But don't criticise at random," he advised.
