While Jack Champion's character Miles "Spider" Socorro is the sole human in the Sully Family in Avatar: The Way of Water, it's conceivable that he'll change in avatar 3. Spider is Na'vi in all but his physical appearance, having been raised by the Omatikaya tribe and the few people who remained on Pandora following the events of the first avatar movie. Being human is still a significant difference, though, and this tension will probably persist into avatar 3.

Spider may have the same yearning to change into a Na'vi, just as Jake Sully did at the conclusion of the first avatar, when his mind permanently switched from his original human form to his Na'vi avatar. Given that Spider recently encountered a reincarnation of his birth dad, Miles Quaritch, in Avatar: The Way of Water, this would be a highly alluring direction for him to go. Here are some of the main reasons why the Sully Family's chosen kid Spider could desire to convert to Na'vi and whether or not that is even a possible.

It makes reasonable that Spider would desire to become a Na'vi after the events in avatar 2. Spider was abducted by the RDA's recombinant avatar carrying the recollections and characteristics of the deceased Quaritch, his biological father, and having a journey that is largely distinct from Jake and Neytiri's children. Spider had the opportunity to converse with a transformed incarnation of his father, but after witnessing Quaritch's brutality, he still made the Sullys his family.
