Soon, dhanush will release another another film with modestly high stakes in theatres. dhanush is keeping things straightforward while the rest of the film business tries to build universes and sequels. According to the Vaathi teaser, it appears to be another straightforward drama from the actor.

Bala, played by dhanush, is a teacher in a government school, and the movie's teaser suggests that Meenakshi, one of Bala's coworkers, will figure prominently in the relationship (Samyuktha). Samuthirakani, who views education as a business, serves as the villain. Vaathi is probably going to be a commercially successful entertainer with a social message regarding corruption and school privatisation.

Vaathi also appears to be distinct from venky Atluri's earlier romantic dramas, which he directed before. With his first film, Tholi Prema, about the quarrels between the movie's leading couple, venky gained notoriety. His other movies, Mr. majnu and Rang De, also deal with relationship problems in a similar way. Vaathi, a social commentary on problems in the educational system, appears to have forced the director outside of his comfort zone. When it comes to advertising his movies, dhanush uses a novel approach that involves doing the absolute minimum amount of work. He also appears to be using the same approach for his upcoming movie Vaathi.
