The lead actors in SS Rajamouli's rrr, ram charan and jr ntr, get along well despite coming from different acting families. In a recent interview, ram charan was questioned about his relationship with jr ntr and whether or not the movie made use of their rivalry in real life. The notion was accepted by Charan, who highlighted that their professional relationship was never harmed by any rivalry.

Instead, the characters' likability and chemistry was a result of Rajamouli's skill in balancing all aspects of the movie, including audience expectations. Charan claimed that the alleged competition was never a problem and gave rajamouli credit for fostering a friendly environment on set.
