With his acting and beauty, he ruled millions of hearts for a long time. However, the last few years of his life were full of pain.

Madhubala was born on 4 february 1933. In childhood, his name was 'Mumtaz Jahan Dehlvi'. His father's name was Ataullah and his mother's name was Ayesha Begum. madhubala, who made millions of people crazy with her performance, was suffering from many diseases. He had a hole in his heart since childhood. Due to this disease, doctors had advised him to maximum rest, but due to problems at home, he had to start working at an early age.

Madhubala started her acting career with the film Basant. After this, his popularity gradually increased. Madhubala's beauty was discussed not only in the country but also abroad. It is said that famous hollywood director Frank Capra wanted to cast madhubala in the film. However, madhubala did not agree with this.


Apart from heart disease, madhubala was gripped by many other diseases. He also had a problem with his lungs. Apart from this, more blood had started forming in his body, which started coming out of the nose and mouth. In the year 1954, during the shooting of the film Chalak, madhubala started vomiting blood. The doctors advised him to rest, but he continued to work. During the shooting of the film Mughal-e-Azam, his health started deteriorating.


He had to shoot by tying himself with heavy chains, due to which his health deteriorated day by day. madhubala was so gripped by her ailments that she remained bedridden for nine years. After this, on february 23, 1969, at the age of just 36, he said goodbye to the world.
