Once more, kangana ranaut has singled out director karan johar, but this time it's for the movie "Selfiee," which he supported with his dharma Productions. The bollywood actress referred to the film as a "failure" and even compared its opening-day earnings to those of her own film, "Dhaakad." On the day it was released, kangana criticised director Karan's co-produced movie "Selfiee," which stars akshay kumar and Emraan Hashmi.

"Karan Johar's movie Selfie has hardly grossed 10 lakhs on the first day. I don't see even one trade or media person talk about it, let alone insulting or tormenting him the way they badger me," kangana said on her page. The headline of the story that kangana re-shared read: "'Male version of kangana Ranaut!,' netizens react as Akshay's 'Selfiee' fails to impress spectators, possibly his 6th consecutive dud flick." She tagged it with: "When I went looking for news on the selfie flop, I discovered that it was all about me. Yeh Bhi Mi Raati Hai (This is also my fault). karan johar, what can I say?"

The hindi version of the malayalam movie "Driving License" is called "Selfiee." Together with Magic Frames, prithviraj Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Star Studios, it has the support of karan Johar's dharma Production.
