With its recent rise in fame, "Balagam" is now establishing a new standard by being screened in numerous villages throughout the state. Family relationships, human values, and ethics are highlighted in the film, which has the backing of the village elders. The Ugadi celebration in Vattimalla of the Konaraopet Mandal in the Rajanna-Sircilla district saw the first showing.
