It can be difficult to comprehend why some movies succeed at the box office at times. For instance, lately, Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan brought in more than $1 billion at the box office, but telugu audiences didn't really enjoy the movie and are perplexed as to how such enormous numbers were recorded. Here is another shocking piece from OTT.

In terms of viewership, it appears that Yami Gautam's Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, which is currently streaming on Netflix, has surpassed both rrr and Gangubhai Kathiawadi. In its two-week run on the streaming platform, this hindi movie amassed approximately 29 million hours worldwide, according to the official statistics. In the same two-week period, rrr received 25.5 million viewing hours whereas alia Bhatt's Gangubhai received 22.1 million. One is perplexed as to why Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, a film that is uninteresting at least to telugu moviegoers, has garnered such high box office receipts.

While the initial highs, such as the romance between an air hostess and a businessman going berserk, and the way they plot to steal diamonds from the airborne plane, have somewhat impressed telugu fans, the film's final hour sounds pretty conventional vengeance drama. The movie is, however, quite mediocre, and nobody would have predicted that it would top the Netflix charts and dethrone rrr in the first place.
