The largest and most popular movie franchise at the moment in india is YRF's SPY Universe. But there was another lucrative and well-known franchise that existed before this one. The "Dhoom" series! In 2004, the experimental film dhoom, starring abhishek Bachchan, john Abraham, and uday Chopra, was released. However, it ended up being a tremendous money maker at the box office. In 2006, dhoom 2 came out, becoming yet another one of the greatest successes of all time and raising the bar for indian movies. Although dhoom 3 was critically lambasted when it was released in 2013, the box office take was enormous.

Even yash Raj Films hinted to the impending release of dhoom Reloaded (Dhoom 4) in 2015. However, there hasn't been any progress or developments on that front since then. The antagonist plays the most important role in every dhoom movie. It was anticipated that a major superstar will be sought out for the upcoming dhoom film. Many celebrities whose casting as the villain was anticipated, like Shah Rukh Khan, salman khan, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar, appeared. But nothing of the sort occurred.

People are saying on social media that it is past due for YRF to bring back the dhoom series now that the studio has announced the release of war 2, the upcoming installment in the SPY franchise starring hrithik roshan and NTR. In recent years, some prominent South indian actors—including Prabhas, Allu Arjun, ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun, and Yash—have grown to be well-known throughout India. Therefore, it has been suggested that Adi Chopra would cast a South superstar once more in dhoom 4 since he was unable to locate a suitable villain from Bollywood.

If any of the South actors named above were cast in dhoom 4, the film would undoubtedly become just as, if not more, touted as war 2. With the announcement of war 2, aditya chopra completely caught everyone off guard, thus we can never be sure of what he has planned for dhoom 4.
