There have been numerous rumours about the partnership between Jr. ntr and revered tamil director Vetrimaaran for a very long period. We frequently hear rumours that the pair will work together in the future. This time, Vetri was asked the query by telugu media while he was in hyderabad promoting his most recent movie, Vidudala.

Vetri responded, "To be honest, I don't know what I'll do tomorrow," when questioned about the ntr movie. Even the scene I'll shoot the following day is unknown to me. Vetri stated that he doesn't want the project to come to fruition merely for the purpose of star power or package power. He stated that if the script calls for a star like ntr, he would bring it to the big screen.

Both Vetri and ntr make astute judgements in this assessment. Vetri is not the typical director of a mainstream commercial. His movies don't emphasise the business side and concentrate mainly on the script. Therefore, rather than choosing a script just for the purpose of it, ntr and Vetri would be better suited working together on one that has enough motivation.
