Few people are aware of Allu Arjun's love for tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran. For years, he has been itching to collaborate with him. allu arjun was astounded by Vetrimaaran's work at Aadukalam about ten years ago. Vetrimaaran was the only option available to allu arjun when he sought to increase his market share in tamil Nadu. He travelled covertly to chennai in order to meet Vetrimaaran and establish a joint endeavour.

With dhanush at the time, Vetrimaaran was organising Vada Chennai. He inquired as to Allu Arjun's enthusiasm in playing a strong role opposite dhanush in the movie. The part was excellent, but allu arjun turned it down. The way allu arjun wanted to present himself in his movies has always been crystal obvious to him. He was never interested in playing a supporting role alongside another actor on screen. allu arjun declined the invitation to be a part of Vada chennai even though Vetrimaaran was his favourite filmmaker because he was certain of what he wanted to do and accomplish in his career.

Ameer eventually took on that role, and the entire movie was enhanced by his performance. Another famous classic from Vetrimaaran is Vada Chennai. Vetrimaaran shared these fascinating facts with the media as he was promoting his most recent movie, Vidudhala.
