There haven't been any particularly thrilling or star-studded movies this summer of 2023, and things have generally started off on a blah note. Custody, Agent, and Virupaksha are the three important movies scheduled for release during the rest of the summer. The problem with these movies is that they mainly rely on word of mouth to perform well at the box office.

With the release postponements and delays, Agent Jr. has experienced a decline in the buzz that it was receiving not long ago. However, given the general appeal, if word-of-mouth is positive, it may perform well at the box office. The 28th of april will see the release of this movie. Then there is Custody, a police drama with strong material. There is a slight commercial component to the movie, but for movies like this to succeed—especially with a lesser-known tamil director at the helm—word of mouth will be the most important factor. The greater portion of the crowd will be drawn to the theatres by positive word of mouth.

Regarding Virupaksha, viewer response to the movie is essentially everything. The trailer looked fantastic, but it will only draw in a small audience. The picture will need nearly universally positive reviews from the opening showing in order to pull the larger section. The conclusion is that in order to ignite the summer season, which is now somewhat uninteresting, all three of these summer releases require really strong word of mouth and general public talk.
