HBO fans in india received a harsh awakening a few weeks ago when Disney+ Hotstar removed all of the HBO content from their site. This was brought on by the consequences of the important commercial agreement. HBO boasts unique content, and among their many high-quality tv shows and films are Succession and Game of Thrones. There was therefore uncertainty about when the HBO material would return to India.

There have been rumors that HBO may introduce its own OTT service in India. The wait for HBO OTT content in india is now over. It has been reported that JioVoot, a freshly formed collaborative platform, would offer HBO content for streaming. There could be a problem with the content library being cluttered. Since the content from all of these platforms will be combined into one, there won't be any exclusivity, and viewers will have to make do with the same.

With the launch of JioCinema next month, the entertainment production company Viacom18 has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery in a multi-year agreement to offer indian audiences some of the best worldwide entertainment material. After leaving its previous home of Disney+ Hotstar last month, HBO Original, Max, and Warner Bros content will now be available in India.
