Custody, an action thriller by tamil director venkat Prabhu, will star naga chaitanya and Kriti Shetty. There are reasonable hopes for the movie because venkat Prabhu's previous movie, Maanaadu, was a smash hit that telugu viewers also enjoyed on OTT.

Venkat Prabhu was questioned by the media during a promotional event on why tamil films aren't as well-known throughout india as telugu and kannada ones. "I believe that the tamil industry is still making films only for the tamil audience," venkat prabhu bravely recognized. They only believe in specific films, namely ponniyin selvan #1. I'm not entirely sure. Since Vijay's Leo stars actors from various other fields, I believe it should break down barriers and have that impact in all languages. We are not, however, as fortunate as telugu filmmakers and films. However, we'll also proceed slowly.

In order to avoid humiliating the tamil industry in front of telugu media, it appeared as though vikram prabhu wanted to imply that the tamil industry attempted to make a pan-Indian film with Ponniyin Selvan. However, he afterward realized that it was a major failure in all languages except Tamil. He, therefore, chose not to discuss it. The venkat prabhu film Custody is scheduled to hit theatres on May 12 and is predicted to be an intense thriller with lots of twists and turns.
