The season seems to be dominated by spy films. Following Agent, Nikhil Akkineni will release a movie titled SPY. On june 29, the movie will open in theatres across all of India. The film is directed by renowned editor Garry BH and stars Sanya Thakur and Iswarya menon as the female roles.

The Spy team recently engaged in a Q&A session with the neighbourhood media. One of the journalists questioned Nikhil about whether he made films specifically to appeal to a certain political party or demographic of the public. To that journalist, Nikhil firmly rebutted and clarified, "I am creating films as an Indian. Don't associate me with any group that seems to be part of your plan. I'll keep making the films I enjoy.

Even in the North, Nikhil's most recent movie, karthikeya 2, was a huge success. A portion of the audience that adheres to right-wing ideologies patronised the film's topic. Now, SPY is also founded on study carried out by people like Anuj Dhar, a well-known critic of gandhi and Nehru. He is well-known for his publications including India's Biggest Coverup and Back From the Dead, most of which extol right-wing ideals. Right-wing YouTubers have already begun promoting the movie when the teaser was released. If the material is popular, Nikhil could see another major breakthrough in the Hindi-speaking world.
