He has acted with leading actors in tamil cinema like Kamal, Rajini, Ajith, and others. In the 90s, she acted in many films and became the dream girl of the fans. She starred opposite Rajini as a child star in the film Anpulla Rajinikanth and later paired up in the films Veera and Muthu. 

Apart from tamil, he also acted in films released in other languages like Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. She married vidyasagar in 2009. They have a daughter named Nainika. Nainika became popular among fans by acting as Vijay's daughter in the movie Theri. Meena's husband passed away last year due to poor health.
