Adipurush, the most expensive and much awaited indian movie to date with prabhas in the starring role, has recently encountered a number of difficulties. Om Raut's picture, which was eagerly anticipated when it opened in theatres, disappointed viewers. The movie, while is praised for its large scale and impressive special effects, has drawn criticism for its poor VFX, lack of authenticity, and tedious narrative. Adipurush failed to leave a lasting impression on viewers despite the early buzz.

The fact that Adipurush's high-definition (HD) version was leaked online prior to its official release on an over-the-top (OTT) platform has added to the film's difficulties. This regrettable leak has made the movie's problems worse because it not only affects how well it does in theatres but also reduces the potential audience for its forthcoming OTT distribution.

Adipurush was initially going to be released in July on a well-liked OTT platform, according to director Om Raut. It raises questions about the level of interest in and viewership for the OTT release, though, considering the HD version is already readily available online. Trolls and memes mocking Adipurush have taken over social media as word of the HD leak spreads. These lighthearted posts increase the negative perception of the movie and make it more difficult for it to recapture the public's interest.
