Ravinder Chandrasekaran, a well-known film producer and the husband of the actress Mahalakshmi, has unexpectedly become involved in a dispute. According to The Hindu, the film producer was detained on thursday by the Entrustment Document Fraud (EDF) Wing-I of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Rs. 15.83 crore.

The entertainment business has been rocked by this arrest. Recognized for his work under the Libra Productions umbrella is renowned film producer Ravinder Chandrasekaran. His celebrity extends beyond the film business, as seen by the media and fans' interest in his marriage to small-screen actress Mahalakshmi.

Ravinder Chandrasekaran has frequently found himself at the center of heated debates. The Hindu claims that he created phony paperwork that guaranteed substantial returns on investments made in solid waste projects. balaji, a citizen of Chennai, fell prey to this purportedly bogus ploy.

Balaji was allegedly persuaded by Ravinder Chandrasekaran that investing in the project to produce power from solid waste may be a profitable opportunity for him. He allegedly pledged to incorporate himself as a partner in the project provided balaji upped his contribution. On september 17, 2020, they signed an investment contract. Ravinder received an astounding Rs. 15.83 crore from Balaji. However, according to allegations, he didn't keep his word and instead embezzled the full sum.


The biggest twist is, he got caught by the police when he went to meet his wife Mahalakshmi and police immediately surrounded him. His own wife helped the cops in arresting him has become a shocking twist!
