The mass-market picture Jawan by superstar Shah Rukh Khan broke some type of box office records, and the baadshah demonstrated how he could use his influence there. Here is a new record that the movie has set, in addition to the enormous box office success that we have previously informed you about.

Evidently, Jawan set a new record for "fastest film" status when it came to reaching a 'net' box office collection of 250 crores. The 250-point milestone was reached by the Hindi-dubbed version of Baahubali 2 in 8 days, KGF2 in 7 days, and SRK's most recent success Pathaan in 5 days. But it took Jawan only four days to do this. In a sense, it built a history in this manner.

As the collections are about 50% of what they were on Sunday, the movie hasn't seen a significant dip in ticket sales even on Monday. The next weekend may add more to the movie if that continues to progress at the same rate. Jawan, which was directed by Atlee, stars SRK and Nayantara, with vijay sethupathi as a villain. The movie is doing exceptionally well even in tamil Nadu box office so far.
